My summer 2013 course in Philosophy of Music is open to both undergrads and grad students from UNCC & elsewhere. Registration opens in a month!
Students from outside UNCC: if you can locate yourself in Charlotte for 5 weeks this summer (Memorial Day—end of June), this is a rare opportunity to take a course on music & philosophy from continental, feminist, and critical race perspectives. We will also be doing some basic music making (constructing monochords, learning a little Ableton, some musique concrete, and maybe an optional extra workshop on analog synthesizer (a triple-five chip synth) construction). I’m happy to work with you to get this to count for credit at your home institution.
